We start with tart apples and add brown and white sugar and apple pie spices. When it’s almost done we add creamy caramel to the pan and allow it to melt all through the batch. Try this on croissants or pancakes! Since beginning in her mother's kitchen, our founder, Jill Gebhart, has relied on one important aspect of her business that makes her jams, jellies, and other goods stand out from the crowd. She makes everything the old-fashioned way, on top of a stove. Our products are hand-stirred and full of fresh local fruit from Maryland orchards such as Baugher's in Westminster and Catoctin Mountain in Thurmont. Our company has grown from our first space in a rented kitchen, to a small house, to two different stores with regular shipments to 1,200 retail locations nationwide.
